“The information regarding water supply issues is very important, especially when it comes to the development of services and water resources. Water supply issues are related to how a person or community can access clean and sufficient water.
We have developed materials to alleviate water shortages in the Degsamo Settlements, providing clean water to approximately 1,500 people. From October 3 to 8, 2024, we are conducting a water tracking initiative. Each delivery of water reaches around 11 camps, where residents have relocated from various areas they were reluctant to leave. This displacement was driven by issues related to land ownership, as individuals were forced to move for interests that did not consider their struggles. This situation has heightened awareness of the risks they face.
