Staff members from Save Vulnerable Mother and Child (SVMC) and the Nilotics Right Organization (NRO) recently visited greenhouse farmers in Baidoa, where they observed the flourishing green grasses and vibrant vegetables being cultivated. This visit aimed to assess the agricultural practices and the impact of greenhouse farming on local food security and livelihoods. The collaboration between the two organizations highlights their commitment to supporting sustainable farming initiatives that empower communities and provide essential resources for vulnerable populations, particularly mothers and children. Through this engagement, they also sought to gather insights on the challenges faced by the farmers and explore potential interventions to enhance productivity and resilience in the face of environmental changes.
