Today, humanitarian partners, local authorities, community representatives, and development stakeholders came together in Burhakaba District for the monthly Area-Based Coordination (ABC) Meeting.
The meeting served as an important platform to review the humanitarian situation, share operational updates, identify critical response gaps, and strengthen collaboration among partners working to support vulnerable communities.
Discussions focused on key sectors including Food Security, Nutrition, Health, WASH, Protection, Education, and Livelihoods. Participants highlighted the ongoing challenges caused by drought, displacement, food insecurity, and limited access to essential services.
Community representatives shared concerns about water shortages, livelihood losses, and increasing humanitarian needs across several villages, while local authorities emphasized the importance of continued support and stronger community engagement.
