Theme: ‘’WHY ARE CLEAN HANDS STILL IMPORTANT? ‘’

Keeping hands clean is still the most important way to prevent the spread of diseases, infections, and dangerous bacteria. Hand washing with soap improves health outcomes and makes the world a safer place for everyone

Save Vulnerable Mother and Child was part of the commemoration of the global hand washing day that event which was held in Baidoa district on 15th October 2024

Today, on World Handwashing Day, we celebrate the power of clean hands in protecting our health, especially for the most vulnerable among us. At Save Vulnerable Mother and Child, we are proud to contribute to this essential cause by providing water tracking support to displaced individuals.

We’ve successfully delivered **6 tracks of water**, each containing **800 liters**, to over **2,500 IDPs**, including women, children, persons with disabilities, and older adults. Access to clean water is crucial for hygiene practices, and handwashing is one of the simplest yet most effective ways to prevent illness.

Together, we can make a difference! Let’s continue to advocate for clean water and sanitation for all, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to wash their hands and stay healthy.

Join us in spreading awareness and supporting those in need. 💙🙌
