The National Organization for Women (NOW) recently conducted a significant training session in Baidoa focused on strengthening the role of women in political leadership across the country. This event brought together key organizations, including the Save Vulnerable Mother andChild(SVMC) and the Nilotics Right Organization (NRO), to empower women with the skills and knowledge necessary to engage effectively in political processes. Through workshops and discussions, participants explored strategies to enhance women’s representation and influence in governance, fostering a more inclusive political landscape that recognizes and values women’s contributions to society.
