The Save Vulnerable Mother and Child (SVMC) initiative, in collaboration with the Nilotics Right Organization (NRO), actively participated in World Humanitarian Day celebrations in Kismayo. This event brought together community members, local leaders, and humanitarian organizations to raise awareness about the importance of humanitarian efforts and the need to support vulnerable populations. Through engaging activities and discussions, SVMC and NRO highlighted their commitment to addressing the challenges faced by marginalized communities, particularly women and children. The celebration served not only as a platform to honor humanitarian workers but also as an opportunity to inspire collective action towards building a more compassionate and resilient society in Kismayo.
