The Save Vulnerable Mother and Child (SVMC) organization has recently conducted a Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) initiative in schools, along with a visit to the Gedo region. This program aims to enhance the health and sanitation facilities within educational institutions, ensuring that students have access to clean water and proper hygiene resources. During their visit to Gedo, SVMC engaged with local schools to assess their needs and promote awareness about the importance of hygiene practices in preventing disease indicating with IEC Materials in School going children’s. By integrating WASH initiatives into schools, SVMC not only improves the learning environment for children but also fosters a culture of health and hygiene that can positively impact the wider community.
