SVMC was honored to participate in a one day Human Rights and Law Training organized by the United Nations Transitional Mission in Somalia (UNTMIS) at the UN Compound in Baidoa.
The training brought together key stakeholders, including local organizations and human rights defenders, to enhance understanding of legal frameworks, promote human rights awareness, and strengthen protection mechanisms across communities.
The Organization remains steadfast in its commitment to advancing justice, equality, and dignity for all. Building on recent progress, it continues to strengthen institutional capacity, promote rule of law, and ensure that every individual has equal access to fair treatment and protection under the law.
In collaboration with key partners, including the United Nations Transitional Mission in Somalia (UNTMIS), the Organization is implementing joint initiatives aimed at enhancing accountability, supporting victims of conflict, and fostering inclusive governance.
Through these efforts, the Organization seeks to create lasting impact by empowering communities, upholding human rights, and promoting reconciliation at both the local and national levels. It values continued partnership with UNTMIS and other stakeholders in the shared pursuit of a peaceful, fair, and inclusive Somali society.
