Staff from the (SVMC) recently visited internally displaced persons (IDPs) in the Baidoa camps to conduct an awareness campaign on Female Genital Mutilation (FGM). The initiative aimed to educate the community about the harmful effects of FGM and to promote the importance of protecting women’s and girls’ rights. During the visit, SVM staff facilitated engaging discussions and interactive sessions that encouraged participants to share their experiences and concerns regarding FGM.
